Composition (per 5 ml after reconstitution):

  • Amoxicillin Trihydrate IP equivalent to Amoxicillin – 100 mg
  • Potassium Clavulanate IP equivalent to Clavulanic Acid – 12.5 mg

Form: Dry Syrup (to be reconstituted with water)

Pack Size: 30 ml bottle with measuring cap/spoon

Route of Administration: Oral

Indications: Used in children for treating:

  • Upper and lower respiratory tract infections
  • Otitis media (middle ear infections)
  • Skin and soft tissue infections
  • Urinary tract infections

Dosage: As prescribed by the pediatrician. Commonly dosed 2–3 times daily based on weight and severity.

Mechanism of Action:

  • Amoxicillin: A penicillin-class antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis.
  • Clavulanic Acid: Inhibits β-lactamase enzymes, enhancing the efficacy of amoxicillin.

Reconstitution Instructions: Add boiled and cooled water up to the mark on the bottle. Shake well before each use. Use within 7 days of reconstitution.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place before reconstitution. After mixing, refrigerate between 2°C–8°C and discard unused portion after 7 days.
